Hi,
I use Paperport in order to be as paper-less as possible. While it is doing a great job, there are some things that I would like to suggest since the cause me a constant pain. Not sure if this is the right place to do so though... is it?
1. Scanning Profiles. For every frequent incoming type of document (invoice from one company, etc) I have a separate scanning profile. The list should be sorted alphabetically - the only way to do so is either doing a manual drag and drop or edit the XML file. A sort option would be most appreciated.
2. Scanning Profiles. I store the various types of processed PDF documents in a specific folder structure. But the scanning profile does not know about where the scan should be stored. So I have to always select the right folder in the folder dialog and then scan with the respective scanning profile. It would be extremely helpful if scanning profiles could include a folder option where associated scans would get stored.
3. Scanning Profiles. I use the ADF option of my scanner in most of all times. But sometimes you get documents in such a strange small format that the scanner cannot cope with it. If the dialog informing that there is no document in the ADF could include the option to scan from the flatbed instead this would be a major help.
4. Add to all-In-One Search. Some documents from banks etc are password protected and break the process when batch adding documents to the All-In-One search. Instead of throwing an error each time such a document is encountered there should be a way to start the process and have it run to the end. Either an option to skip errors, or even better to be presented with the list of files that could not be added for whatever reasons at the end.
If these four points could be solved I would be a most happy person :-)
Thanks for considering!
Best regards
Martin
